How we count tenders in Western Australia

A federal tender counts here when AusTender lists Western Australia among the places the work is delivered, including tenders open to every state and territory. A council tender counts under the council's state. Numbers are open tenders that have not closed, counted each day from the portals we read.

How the WA Government advertises

Under the Western Australian Procurement Rules (opens in a new tab), rule D3.1, state agencies must use Tenders WA to advertise requests issued as open advertisements. Rule C4.1 sets open advertisement for purchases of $250,000 and above, including extension options and GST (Section C (opens in a new tab)). Purchases through a common use arrangement follow its own buying rules instead.

What Worthabid does with them

Worthabid reads each new tender against what your business does and marks it Pursue, Consider or No bid, with the reason in plain words. Each weekday morning you get the ones worth a look. A keyword alert sends every notice that mentions your words. Worthabid sends the few that fit and says why the rest do not.

We check for new tenders every day. Federal and WA Government tenders, plus councils across Australia, with more sources added as they come on board. Every notice links back to the portal that published it, and the Sources page lists each one.
